Stoneridge District Officer Mrs. Govera, and her assistant Mrs. Fusire, visited the Harare South site on 22nd October to view the progress of the facility. Tendayi Gatsi, NMSI, hosted a full tour of the site, reviewing the benefits of each department and the state-of-the-art equipment that will be installed.
Mrs. Govera was impressed with NMSI’s innovative construction system, noting that the facility was particularly cool in comparison to the warm external ambient temperature. She emphasised the significance of a local maternity ward, decreasing the distances and costs that the local community must endure to access health facilities.
Mrs Fusire similarly admired the modern equipment at the facility and was particularly impressed with the solar power generation installation. District Officer Govera thanked NMSI profusely for building such a modern facility in an area where it is much needed.
