NMSI were delighted to host the Honourable Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care at Stoneridge Health Centre on the 30th March 2022. This has been the first such visit by the Vice President to the facility. He and his delegation were given a brief of the project, alongside a tour of the facility by NMSI Country Agent Brian Madamombe and Zimbabwe Construction Manager Donald Fraser. The delegation included the Permanent Secretary and the Chief Curative Director of the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Director of Policy and Planning and the Director of Infrastructure and Hospital Planning
Impressed with the quality of the facility and the high standard of equipment that has already been delivered, the Vice President was particularly pleased by the staff accommodation on-site, that will help attract healthcare workers. The Vice President thanked NMSI for building the facility and stated that he looks forward to hearing back about progress for the next phase after the design review.
