The funding is now in place for the works to begin on the first of the 30 Health Centres that will be built as part of the Ministry of Health and Child Care’s Health Facilities Programme.
The funds have allowed for the designs of the Health Centres and the first facility, to be located in South Harare, to be finalised; and while the land surveys and environmental works are due to begin imminently, bi-lateral discussions are taking place with various funders to bring the rest of the contract to life.
This phases now ushers in an exciting beginning to this “Built To Care” project, delivering quality healthcare facilities to the people of Zimbabwe.
